Michael Vick Dogfighting

Michael Vick is a man loved not only in Atlanta, but also here in Virginia (where I'm from). So it pains me to see a true football hero from Virginia Tech in a situation like this. If the charges against him are true believe me I think he should get a lot more than six years.I also think the NFL should ban him for LIFE! Being a dog lover myself and having 3 of my own I cant possibly imagine how any person could watch or participate in a dog fight. If you have ever seen one it is one of the most brutal and terrible things you could ever witness. The NFL should recognize that if Vick is convicted allowing him to play when his sentence is up (which will probably be immediate with 6 years suspended and time served) will only serve to hurt the league with protests from PETA and other animal rights groups. I just cant believe the man I grew up admiring could do such a thing. I'm the biggest VT and Michael Vick fan around so i hope this is so huge lie and he is in no way involved in this but the evidence points the other way. Maybe it will turn out like the duke lacrosse case, but if it doesn't I wish he could spend 10 to 15 years in a dark cell by himself to reexamine his life
